I’m Rowan, the photographer behind Love & Legends, shaped by the soft, shifting light of Western Australia’s South West. This landscape taught me to slow down and notice the quiet things the moments that often go unseen. That’s where my love of photography began.

Over the past six years, I’ve documented more than 300 weddings. Through this, my approach has naturally evolved into soft-light, documentary photography.I gather quiet truths in gentle, forgiving light where nothing is forced, and moments unfold honestly.

I’m always watching the way light moves. I work with it so it caresses rather than cuts, allowing you to simply be present while I document what’s real.

I’m also a dad to two little legends who remind me every day how fleeting life is. They’ve taught me to see beauty in the in-between the tender, unspoken moments.

That’s what I’m drawn to.

And that’s what I preserve.
